Ego house

The Ego house project was my first attempts to design a building and make a "full scale" presentation.

Back in 2002 the only way of getting realistic(ish) lighting was to use radiosity. Lightscape was the only reasonable solution for rendering, so a lot of effort was put in modeling everything using rectangular geometry (to avoid radiosity artifacts).

Today, simulating realistic lighting is much easier. Although Global Illumination (GI) is now the preferred technique, I still like the radiosity approach for architectural interiors.
